Hey WAU Family,
We're excited to share some more updates with you.
First, let's discuss the cost of our bikes and our shipping costs.
Some of our community members have pointed out that the shipping cost might be higher than they previously thought. The current shipping costs are lower than our actual costs to ship you your WAU Bike + any accessories. On average, our bikes cost $1,000 or more to produce. Here's an invoice from our manufacturer:
Our ultimate goal with WAU is to deliver as much value to our early supporters and introduce as many people to the WAU family as possible. We believe that we have developed WAU Bike with a high attention to detail and with immense quality, making an amazing fully loaded e-bike that you will love and not be disappointed by.
Survey Updates
We have updated the survey we shared in last week's update to include the "Boom Battery Upgrade" add-on. We have also updated this survey to be for backers who pre-ordered a single WAU Bike package. If you have ordered a double WAU Bike package and have not filled our last week's survey yet, please use the following link to confirm your shipping address, color selections, tire selections and to pay for your shipping cost.

Reserve Now, Pay Later Selection + Balance Collection
To our Reserve Now, Pay Later WAU Backers, It's now time to select the WAU Bike package you would like and to pay the full balance!
Following this update, we will be sending out the survey via email for our Reserve Now, Pay Later backers. Please check your email and fill out the survey to confirm your shipping address, WAU Bike package selection, color selection, tire selection and to pay for your WAU Bike package balance and shipping cost.
As mentioned in the last update, we will be using these surveys to confirm your order and to provide you with a confirmation email later down the line, with full details of all accessories and bikes for every backer, confirming all purchases you have made.

Hey WAU Family,
This is a very important update as we have a lot of exciting updates about the campaign and us taking the next step in the campaign as we near its end.
Announcing a NEW Color Coat!
Based on the early survey responses for the new color coat, we have a winner! Meet your new WAU Bike in Matte Grey!
The new color is available today for $49 and can be added via the campaign page.
We also loved the additional colors that were suggested and will take this feedback into consideration when if and when we launch any new color coat options.
Confirm Your Selections + Shipping Cost & Collection
As we near the end of the campaign, we wanted to start confirming and processing orders. We are also in manufacturing, so we have also finalized our shipping costs.
The shipping cost for WAU Bike will be $199 and will be collected via the survey.
Any additional accessories or add-ons pledged will ship free with your WAU bike, there is no need to collect additional shipping costs for those accessories!

Bike Charging
Continue with our charging topic, you may charge your bike using the charging port on the left side of the panel. This rubber seal charging port is fully waterproof and dustproof.
As we previously mentioned we are working around the clock developing a way to securely remove the battery itself for the full ability to easily take it and charge it anywhere you go.

Lots going on these days from the hardest-working team here in London!
Here is a short brief of what went down this week:
WAU Smart Box & Charging
We have designed WAU Smart Box with complete safety in mind. WAU Smart Box acts as a cocoon protecting the technology, all built in awesome features inside as well as protecting the powerful battery pack.
With the current design of the Smart Box, you can charge your WAU Bike via the waterproof charging port present on the left side of the panel (See Image above on the bottom of the panel). Previously, battery pack removal required screws to be removed from the left of the box to slide out the battery.
However our in-house WAU team is currently working hard together with extremely experienced British military aerospace engineering to develop a brand new way to remove the WAU Smart Box anytime you want with no additional tools. This will allow you to have further protection of all new technology in your bike and will also allow you to freely and easily charge your battery anywhere you go.
UPGRADE for WAU S
For bakers that purchased WAU S, your high grade lithium battery voltage has been increased from 36v to now 48v. The reason we did this is because 36v in testing could not unleashed the full potential of the 500W WAU S motor to the max. Now we have upgraded all WAU S battery packs FREE of charge. It’s all juiced and ready to go!
**For all the awesome backers that got WAU and WAU City, your motor is too running to the highest, reliable output (36v) for 250W motors.**
Deliveries - (Early Next Week Update)
Attention to those who backed the campaign on/before the 15th October (before the first price increase). We will be sending an email out for you to confirm your order and delivery address with us. The ones who purchased Reserve Now, Pay Later you will be sent a link to complete your balance.
We are working with extreme deadlines, and we are here to make sure you get the highest quality parts and components in your WAU Bikes.
